Spirit of Gizzmas 2025 - Supporting Immigrant Defense Project!

The Spirit of Gizzmas exists as an annual opportunity for the Weirdo Swarm to come together to converge for the GATOR GOOD, supporting a non-profit organization that exemplifies, works to support, or puts effort into realizing shared community values 🐊

This year we are supporting the Immigrant Defense Project https://www.immigrantdefenseproject.org/.

A community design was created by @Satan.Speeds.Up inspired by the phrase, "Chinga la migra". A pre-order of shirts will be open until 31 Dec 2025, and the shirts will be screen printed by @IglooBudsTieDye. An option will be available for an extra $10 to receive a special tie-dye variant of this limited pre-order only run of shirts.


100% net proceeds will be donated to The Immigrant Defense Project. Your purchase will show support around your community, but also it will be a purchase made knowing you're contributing all net proceeds to a charity working daily to support immigrant rights, which are precious human rights.


Orders will fulfill following the closure of the pre-order 12/31 and any order updates such as tracking ID for your shipment will be provided direct to the email associated with your WEIRDOSWARM.ORG account.

The Immigrant Defense Project (IDP) was founded over 30 years ago in New York City to combat an emerging human rights crisis, and sadly the crisis is no less dire today. Their work focuses on funding impactful legal advocacy from a policy as well as personal level, strategizing litigation, and increasing a support for effective public education. Protecting and expanding the rights of all immigrants is at the heart of their mission, and it is important work at at a time when daily unsettling actions are being taken against people, children, and families unscrupulously and without justice. It's a time when loud advocacy isn't just welcome, it's simply a requirement for those who stand for human rights.
