RAIN-Forest Hills Night 1
I’ve only be able to seen them six times, NYC in ‘17, Two in 25, New Haven (Phantom Island show) and Forest Hills 25 night 2. I did the 3 night FH run, this night was just so special and weird. Despite being absolutely soak even with a poncho, the poring rain made the night even more unique. I was beyond joyful when they opened with Extinction, for my profile its been my "Nathan Song You Need Rock'ed" for awhile and and couldn't have been more satisfied. Evil Death Roll was a real treat. Theia was transcendent, everything I hoped for as a rock version, spacey, jammy, just beautiful.. After Theia, the energy exploded. Then Straws in the Wind featured Ambrose orchestrating a crowd chant, "f**k!" "everything!". Highlight of the night for me. Float Along was perfect, been chasing it every show, the Dragon teases made it extra special.
