At Field of Vision 2 the Weirdo Swarm supported People and Pollinators Action Network with an on site charity raffle and charity tshirt presale 100% proceeds to PPAN. PPAN works to advocate for laws protective of the environment and pollinators local to Colorado. The inspired charity shirt was designed by @thisoldengine_, and was an incredibly unique and vibrant colorway. The onsite raffle was busy - and the winners walked away extremely happy with items signed by all members of King Gizzard and gifted to us for this charity event - including a Alien Metal vinyl gifted on the day it was released (which is just so fun I think) - and there was signed posters, some shirts, a tote and other goodies from p(doom). Bootleggers in mirage city SHOWED OUT with over a trunkload (can confirm) of posters, art, rugs, decor, apparel, jewelry, vinyl - pretty much anything you can imagine was a part of the prizes...including possibly a nonagon buttplug. Several winners were chosen and each selected their top item before sorting through the rest as a group. A fun thing was that a winner from year 1 actually won again... 1st year via paper ballots and 2nd year was an online randomized selection - PLUS it was her birthday weekend both years... A very lucky weirdo! The weekend at FOV2 was very much like FOV1 in that we were in Mirage City most of the weekend running this charity raffle and wouldn't change a thing! It was a blast and a success - can't wait for more in the future.
