The weirdo swarm supported StevenNeedsAKidney.com in NYC this year at Cobblestones Pub in Queens with an onsite charity raffle - 100% of money from entries went to Steven, providing him financial assistance directly. Steven is a New York resident and friend of the community who has Stage 4 Kidney Disease - caused by Lupus Nephritis. He is the sole caregiver for his mother, who was disabled following a stroke. He has unfortunately lost his brother and his father, and it has been an incredibly difficult journey for him navigating things independently. Assistance in the form of financial aid means everything to him, as he can't take off work appropriately for his doctor visits and care for the financial burden and toll it takes on him and consequently his mother. Our donation directly to him makes a true impact in his pursuit of survival - and ability to have a small safety net provided by our group. We are so thankful to be able to support Steven in this way. Bootleggers provided over a hundred items as donations and multiple winners walked away with goodies including apparel, vinyl, posters, and more! It's always a fun time at Cobblestones, it's crowded and people come ready to make memories - and support charity.
